It was good in the sense I wasn't aware of the events that took place. The war was so big and impacted so many countries and people that each movie is like a piece of the puzzle for me.
Anthropoid is on my to watch list for some time know. But I haven't gotten the time/energie/patience to watch it.
Same here. I hope our pay TV is doing a replay. Missed em the first time it was there.
I watched the special features with Mel Gibson too... good stuff.
Yea, and its a true story. There was a short interview with the guy who was this in reality.
I HIGHLY recommend World War II In Colour currently streaming on Netflix. It's a 13 episode documentary from 2009. I watched an episode a night over the past few weeks. It jumps around a bit but is very thorough.
Fifteen years after the end of World War II, a team of top-secret Israeli agents travels to Argentina to track down Adolf Eichmann, the Nazi officer who masterminded the transportation logistics that brought millions of innocent Jews to their deaths in concentration camps. Hoping to sneak him out of the country to stand trial, agent Peter Malkin soon finds himself playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with the notorious war criminal. (stole the synopsis from google)
