World War II General Discussion

I see them too, and I call them out on it and counter their arguments.

But this thread just seems to be doing the same thing they are.

I've been looking at the forum everyday and seeing impatient people that aren't appreciating what they have, but instead trashing the game for not running perfect. I wasn't going to start a thread about it, but share the same sentiments as the OP.... drop the millenials part because I know darn well those people come in all ages, shapes, and sizes.

Way to simplify the crap out of a half working game. Daily we are constantly finding new bugs, orders not working, HQ still broken, the most hyped part of their marketing, xp all jazzed up, some people and some modes still not running on dedi’s, camo’s jacked up, gear jacked up, supply drops not working, accounts getting reset and a ton of in game BS. You can expect the weapon balance to be an issue and maybe some out of map glitches but ignoring the rest of the garbage they put out and pretending like it is OK, is just irresponsible. If your OK with people selling you broken products or half ass services, thats your prerogative but shaming and insulting people for expressing their dissatisfaction with it especially with no option of refunding it is just ignorant. Just cause it bothers you on a  personal level doesn’t mean it is not fully and completely justified.

The only recourse consumers for a game like has is to make the issues known publicly and to never buy another product from the company again since there is ZERO option for a refund, once you open and play it, your are stuck. Claim buyer beware all you want but with that the company will need to except all complaints that follow in order to make the public aware of their inability to perform on their promises.

How am I shaming and insulting people?

The reaction to this game and flood of feedback we'll see the first few months are no different than any other CoD. Just because I side more with the original poster than the people criticising his post doesn't mean people don't have the freedom to point out issues and problems within the game. I respect that ability.... but also have an opinion and am free to share mine whether that's agreeing or disagreeing with a post.

Calling people that have not received a fully functional product they paid for impatient for posting thier issues with it especially since there is no remedy and it can't be returned. If you disagree with how the game is functioning and are content, that's fine but people expecting a working product and voicing thier opinion about it when it isn't working as advertised, that's not impatience, thats 100% justified and if they remain silent than the company that failed to perform won't fix the problems. By the way, we are now approaching the 3rd week and the game is still broken.

I'm sorry.... how am I shaming and insulting people?  ....by calling them impatient? Boy oh boy.

Here-----> I apologize to all those people that took offense to me calling them impatient.

Now I'm going to go enjoy playing a so called... "broken game".

You can go to any game developers forums and see the exact same garbage. Even if the game launched without a hitch the forum's would still be packed with crying

Great, and when the game launches without a hitch and they fix the broken game, you position on being patient and satisfied would apply, right now, it seems more like your trying to silence those that rightfully upset. Since there is still a ton wrong and we are nearing week two with minimal improvements and no clarification on when and if things will be fixed, the complaints should rule the forums.

As far as I am concerned, this is a great game. (Besides the obvious bugs that will be worked out) . I never even considered buying a cod game after waw but I gave WW2 a shot and am loving it. Get some patience millennials.

You do understand that if everyone stayed quiet and patient like you said, they wouldn't fix a dam thing and just focus on revenue generated supply drops. The benefit of speaking up is it may encourage them to get their act together and stop being lazy on launches. This is not a age thing, this is the annoyance of being sold a product that is broken. Besides, those that haven't bought the game yet and for the xmas crowd, this will give them idea on whether the game is worth it to buy. Right now, not looking good if you are on the fence of buying it.

I am on the opposite, I think people should hammer the company to complete and fix what was promised to their paying customers and not focus their efforts on future customers until current issues are fixed. If someone sold you a new car and the AC/heat didn't work, any reasonable person would be annoyed and irritated, this is no different.

Those that are brand new to this forum telling everyone to stop complaining I am always suspicious of their reasons for hyping the game, might even be Activision/SHG employees themselves but who knows.

Here is a thought, if you don't like the hate, complaints threads, much of which is completely valid don't read them. I for one, encourage people to spam complaints until the game is what was advertised to us.

Couldn't agree more with this comment. In any aspect of live, when you buy a product, doesn't matter which one, and you go home try it, and check it is not working (a microwave that stops, a light that tilts a laptop that overheats) you complain in the store, and nornally what they do is fix the problem, give you back a new product if you return the previous one and the warranty is ok, or give you a refund. What are Activision and SHG doing? "Listening" the comunity and "trying to fix" the bugs. Perfect, no problem, but till you do offer a compensation for all that people who bought it on launch date or pre-order it, because as far as I know selling a defective product is illigal and it's legally punishable.

I don't know what you think, and I know they might not be prepared to handle all the people playing online at the beginning, which is kinda ok, andbut you need time to fix. But instead of bragging about of much money your game made in the firststore week, apologize to all your players/customers, for all the inconvenience they are going through and offer them compensation

PS: I am 32,so very little millenial, plus I own a restaurant, and if the customers complain about the food and/or how they are being treated, and my only response was "I know, I'm trying to fix it, but look I made 3 millon dollars this month" I would have to close in so little time and I would go bankrupt.

LOL if Sledgehammer ran a restaurant:

Customer- I'll have a Cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce, onions, mustard, mayo. French fries and a Coke.

Waiter brings Out a bun with meat on it. A glass of flat soda with no ice, and a plate of uncooked French Fries.

Customer- WTF?

Waiter: It's everything you asked for.

Customer: Um, No it's not. Where is my cheese? My Bacon, Lettuce, Onion, Mustard, Mayo? The Coke is flat and has no ice, the fries aren't cooked!

Waiter: Well, the cheese hasn't been delivered yet, and Bacon, lettuce, Onion, Mustard, and Mayo are only available through purchasing add ons in our store. You asked for Fries, our frier is down. If you let them sit long enough they'll be room temp. If the frier starts working, I'll come throw them in for you. By the way, there is a 30% tip added onto your check.

Customer: I'd like to complain.

Waiter: Sure, Tweet us or send us a Facebook message. We have a website but we usually just use Reddit. We might get back to you, but probably not. Here's a paper hat for you to wear as a token of our appreciation for your business!

So you are comparing a video game to food at a restaurant? Okay, but makes so sense at all.

Post of the year here folks!

Your too simple.  Why should we be satisfied with a recycled engine? WW2 is a MW2 facelift.  The network still has issues when playing in a party that they STILL can’t fix after multiple updates. This game is almost unplayable with friends.

Stop being a loyal dedicated socialist. (In the sense that you think the game is brand new and you love the fact that Activision invests in recycled engines)
