We’re off to Berlin, Germany next week for Quo Vadis and International Games Week Berlin, April 20th – April 24th! Our studio heads, Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, have been asked to participate in a number of events surrounding the conferences, including fireside chats with indie developers, talks with students, and we’re presenting an award at the German Games Awards show. In addition to the events, we’re happy to announce that Glen is giving a talk during the show entitled, “Visual Storytelling” where he’ll outline the power of Visual Storytelling in video games and how this technique can be utilized to empower and energize your art teams.
We’re also sitting in on two great panel opportunities at the show with visionaries from across the industry. Michael Condrey is joining Dorian Kieken (Bioware), Matias Myllyrinne (Remedy Entertainment), and Harald Riegler (Sproing) on the “Maximizing Working with Big Teams, and Keeping the Vision of a AAA” panel taking place Wednesday, April 14. Also, Glen Schofield will be discussing “The Future of the Games Industry” with Ed Fries (Gaming Legend & Advisor), Noah Falstein (Google), and Jens Begemann (Wooga).
Aside from the show, we’d like to invite you on a tour of Berlin on Monday, April 20th with Glen and Michael. It’s our first time visiting the city, we’ll be taking in the sites, and we’re planning to do some live check-ins via Periscope.tv – a live-streaming mobile app. Be sure to watch our Twitter account on Monday for announcements when we go live. If you don’t have the app, you can download it here: Periscope.tv.
