How to get the new guns in the game?

I am new to this system they implemented, I haven't played call of duty since MW3, and picked up MWR for my new Xbox One....

There are new weapons in the game such as the XM-LAR a FANG gun, and other guns... How do you get these weapons? Which supply drops do I have to open, or are certain supply drops to open than others?
