Have you ever tried using the SMAW? It doesn't track after locking on...
I can't believe the lack of anti air defense is used in a lot of games I play. Even if you dont get the stinger till 40, people should at least use the default class when they die from opposing air support. All it takes is a couple people to shoot it down, then change back to your class of preference after your next death.
I honestly think it's fine (outside of people who spam it like a primary). It's really just the trade-off of...
A.) Being the default Launcher.
B.) Being both free fire AND vehicle lock.
...if we raise the damage to OHKing Attack Helicopters (which is also the "limit" before flares start popping out of aerial killstreaks), all it'd need is 1 extra rocket before the Stinger would essentially be pointless outside of higher-end killstreaks as the SMAW would have similar power, but far greater versatility by being able to used like a one-shot RPG-7 as well.
Not to say I don't know the feeling as I've hitmarkered choppers with the SMAW and such before, but a few bullets more and it goes down quickly anyway given the SMAW depletes a majority of its health at least..
This is true, I just feel so vulnerable until I get Blind-Eye. I feel like I shouldn't be forced to use a perk or have to spend an entire clip just to take down the masses of airsupport that go up during a match
i think it needs a buff to it's useless unless your using it to kill people it's no stronger when using it with blind-eye pro and blind-eye pro is suppose to give more damage against air support.and while iw is fixing that they can buff the model 1887 to.
Blind-Eye Pro lets you lock onto targets faster, not give you extra damage
it does say you get extra damage on blind-eye pro against air support.
sorry not on the game atm just looked though yes it is extra bullet damage against air support but it should be extra weapon damage against air support in this case.
well a higher rank shold try to shoot it down i always shoot enemy ks down, it boils down to team work.
