1st topic... Support Package... will it be abused by vets versus help the greenie?

I think the Support package is an interesting idea to help folks who can't get long KS...

... but I also think it will be used by vets to abuse the greenies versus help them.

Why?

When equipped, your KS doesn't reset upon death... So, you're going to allow a guy who has a high KDR the ability get one of these support packages...

Support Tier Killstreaks:

4 Kills – UAV

5 Kills – Counter UAV

5 Kills – Ballistic Duffel – Drop Juggernaught perk for the whole team, not jugg suit

5 Kills – Airdrop Trap – Drops a hacked care package

8 Kills – Sam Turret

10 Kills – Remote [Missile] UAV – Target enemies with missiles

12 Kills – Advanced UAV – Blackbird

12 Kills – Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control

12 Kills – Stealth Bomber

18 Kills – EMP

18 Kills – Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour

18 Kills – Escort Airdrop – Same as the Osprey Gunner but you dont control the gunner or chopper and Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked.

... even after he's died?

I can see this working against the new fella fairly quickly.

If someone has a high KDR, they're going ot benfefit from the assault streaks. This will help the casual players far more. Someone who has a high KDR probably wants to get the most kills possible; this package won't really help them there. It's mainly "support."

You should see the clip of this guy who got the Jugg Recon Armour... drilled 6 guys with just a riot shield... they couldn't kill him.

I can easliy get 18 kills in a game of CTF, DOM, etc... plus it's points, so, taking out an enemy turret gets you points towards the KS.

Designed for the greenie but will be a strong thing for vets, too.

Except it doesn't drop the juggernaut... it drops the perk. Pretty big difference.

Except you're mistaken... it's not the perk... please watch the first 30 secs of this clip.

I don't like this idea at all. We are going to have stealth bombers all over the place.

I can see it being abused by some, but as a whole, I think experienced players are better off with out it.

A good player is going to rack up points towards the streaks either way, I can see a few of the Streak rewards getting out of hand, when you think of a good team vs randoms, the randoms get few kills and even fewer caps, so they still wont get many point streaks, and it will be so easy for good players to get up to the 18 points, and even if they die once or twice it wont matter, so the good players are going to get more out of this than the bad players.

it actually is if you die you killstreak only works that one time then it resets
