I need gyro aiming and proper use of nunchuck

Ghosts Wii U

I bought Ghosts for Wii U because of Wiimote and the tablet controller enhanced local multiplayer, and they work absolutely amazingly superbly!!! I find this version to be easily the best version for me, and I also find that the 70€ was not enough for showing my gratitude for getting this game in this current anti Nintendo hegemony. Thank you very, very much!!! I at least have one really good FPS for Wiimote.

But! The tablet controller needs gyro aiming for fluidity, accuracy, immediacy, and being able to compete with Wiimote without auto aim. I will pay another 70€ for buying it for a present for some one if this happens! The gyro aiming with a big screen in you hands, aided with regular controllers, is very close to Wiimote in accuracy, if not just as accurate, and perhaps even better in immersion. It's practically, well, in fact, also actually virtual reality, just with smaller screen. Just try it, it's like magic, only real.

Also, take away the auto aim from Wii U version altogether. We finally have a console, that doesn't need computer to make gameplay decisions, so please support it accordingly.

In Wii U version players would also be able to control leaning for him/her selves with nunchuck. It worked very well in Wii version of Medal of Honor. Please update it asap. I don't like automation in games; it's anti gaming.

Here's a BONUS TIP for next game:

Use the tablet controller for commanding your squad in an RTS fashion!

Awesome comment!

But if I may ask, could you specify just a bit; are the controller options something you dislike, or is the general tone of finding something positive and special from Wii U hardware unpleasant for you?

I think Bobby, like me, thought your whole post was a sarcastic joke. I might be wrong speaking for him, but I did anyway.

Wow! I never guessed people are quite this cynical. Even in internet.

I was, and still am, just REALLY excited and even relieved that we got this game. I know, that Cod is not much and its wasn't my preference, but getting 3rd party games, that are this good, is not a given in Wii U's situation, and now that we got this, it proved to be even much better for our 'team', than we thought. We play softair, and the softair weapons don't work well in cold winters, and thought that perhaps Wiimote would be our solution for not getting completely rusty in the long winter.

We only play private games against friends we know, and we have Zero lag issues. The slightly slower pace with these new maps proved to be surprisingly good fit for our needs. The Cod is not meant to be 'realistic', but with Wiimote it kind of feel almost like shooting for your self and with excellent customization options that this game offers, we got ourselves quite realistic game; certainly more realistic, than Anything with analog thumbsticks can offer in other consoles!

I am genuinely greatful for gettin at least one good multiplayer FPS for playing with Wiimote. I wish that the popularity issues wasn't keeping Wii U back, and we got an FPS that was tailor made for Wii U and Wiimote, but this actually feels like a saviour.

Well A_T_U says this game is tailor made for the gamepad as its primary controller, but I understand now where you're coming from.

I wouldn't say the gamepad NEEDS gyro-aiming, but I think it would be a nice option. Personally, I'd like if if the gyro-sensing was only turned on while ADS. I'm not sure if you want it on all the time or only while ADS, but if they did add gyro-aiming, then I think there should be an option for "Off," "ADS", and "Always".

Yes! I was thinking just that! I tried local mp match with the game pad, and while it is an exellent game controller, no analog stick can offer the immediacy of the Wiimote and it felt just wrong to play that way after playing with Wiimote. With that gyro option the immediacy and finesse would be there even for the game pad player.
