I have a ton of tips:

Foxhound posted a link of this Thread on Twitter three days ago and I completely forgot about about it.
Anywhoozle, I read... (more like skimmed through) the thread and there are a lot of good advice. I could be repeating some of them or restating some in my own words.
Hello, I am just now starting to play Call of Duty Ghosts, and quite frankly, I'm not very good at it. I seem to die alot and not get very many kills. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me improve my gameplay.
If you're interested in leveling up faster I suggest using Hardline Perk and Specialist Killstreak. If not, I suggest using Support Killstreak.
really enjoy the game and hope to get better at it, so once again, if anyone has any tips or maybe to change my classes, like I use the Honey Badger with alot of different perks and no Grenade or Pistol, anyway, thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
Honey Badger is a good AR to use. It has a good Fire Rate, built-in Silencer so you don't appear on the radar HUD when firing and in my opinon more balanced than the Remington (which I believe is Ghosts' ACR).
Not using Grenades, Pistols and Tactical Devices frees up space to be used for Perks, but there is a downside; not being able to use those equipment when you wished you had them. But, if you're comfortable doing it that way then by all means go for it.
I don't know what your definition of "better" is. Are you interested in turning Pro?
If you truly want to get better, I suggest getting a good gaming headset. Anything from $50 - $100 would be a good investment to start with.
Familiarize yourself with all maps so you'll know where to go.
Look at your HUD every now and then. Knowing where the enemy is at all times is necessary to kill them and to stay alive.
Think fast if you're going to Run N' Gun.
Great advice from frats74.
I would put an asterisk next to checking your HUD every now and then. Make sure you don't spend too much time focusing on the mini-map. When you do, I try to pay more attention to where my teammates are than where the red dots are. Not all red dots will show up, for starters. Also, wherever your teammates are? Your opponents are not.
Start practicing in Squads mode, that will get you use to the gameplay. Next piece of advance for Ghost is to slow down, observe and make decisions, plan ahead. I know, its hard when you have bullets flying past ya. Most important, learn from your mistakes.

First off... welcome to the forums. COD can be fun and frustrating at the same time.
A lot o folks have given great tips on you kit... but the one thing you can grow are your skills. It's not the shooting skills... but game skills.
My 2 pennies? Play a little free for all now and again. Dont worry about getting hammered either, just pay attention to how you die, and how your opponent beat you, whether its their placement, sneaky play, anticipating what you were going to do, or simply just reacting faster. Dont read too much into killcams though, they aren't accurate so dont let them bother you overmuch.
Try to avoid the hotzones, and instead find routes around the outside of them which allow you to see in - grab a couple of kills on unsuspecting foes and move on. Find a gun which works for YOU and stick with it for a bit. Dont just assume all the guns that people label OP will be good for you.
Oh, and one last piece of advice: if you play Domination on Stonehaven for gods sake STEER CLEAR OF THE B FLAG!!!!!
