anything to shake it up and make them seem different from each other. it keeps the games fresh. I was also a fan on the makin/makin day in WaW
Mainly because maps like that cause people to hide.
And that only helps them for a couple weeks until people know the hiding spots. I'm tired of mid-day maps... a couple night maps would great...
... or even better, dynamic time-of-day that chnages both at the start and during a match.
Having different times of the day could really add something as the different shadows cast in the morning, at midday and before sunset, would make one map play differently as shaded camper spots would be brightly lit in a different time of day.
Rain would affect play in other ways, footsteps less noticeable, reduced effectiveness of thermal scopes.
Night time would have to offer significant distractions to avoid thermal scope domination (if they're included).
I'd really like changeable environmental conditions to make the maps feel less stale.
Some maps should have dynamic weather and daytime variant.
We need some night maps on Call of Duty
I think this would be a great idea. So many maps would completely change with a simple tweak to the Day/Night setting. I think it would be cool to be playing a map during the day, and then later on in the rotation you get the night variant. Heck, maybe even adjust the voting system to account for that. When a map comes up, allow players to vote on a Night or Day version of the map. Not sure how problematic that would be on the technical side of things, but it would be a great system and would basically double the amount of stock-maps at launch.
I would be fine with a vote option for every map.
Some variety is needed because B02 has none.
