I have xbox360 atm but I'm planning to buy sp4 whenever it comes out. I was wondering if ill purchase cod ghosts on xbox360 on the date of release will I be able to upgrade it to ps4 for 10$ later or will i be screwed and will have to spend another 60$?
You can only upgrade your version to the next gen of that same console.
You will be screwed for the upgrade is only from console to console, not cross platform as in xbox to ps. So if you go to ps4 you will have to buy it again. Better off to wait until ps4 is out and the game is for it too, or if you want to play it that bad then get an X1 where you can upgrade at that point.
I am in the same boat but i will gladly pay the extra $60 because there is no way in HELL I am buying the MS big brother box. Until they take off the MANDATORY camera you can't turn off or it wont work i will never buy the X1. Microsoft did everything wrong, I want a game system not an all in one, my computer can handle that.

Guess you are now eligible to buy the X1. The camera is not mandatory, it can be turned off. They give you a LOT of control over the system. Either way, this is outside of the scope, but though I would try to clear up your obvious confusion.
Thanks for the info, I just read the Article from IGN about that from August. I may still go PS4 just because they were retarded enough to try all the shit they did who know what will happen in the future.
You can turn off the kinect. It does not have to be active all the time, just connected. And trust me at one point in the future the ps will do the same. For that is the route all gaming systems and computers are going. Every laptop/netbook will have a webcam. Every pc monitor will have one built in too at one point.
Technically it doesn't even have to be plugged in anymore. They confirmed that back in August.
I would strongly suggest going in to a GameStop or similar retailer and asking them if they will support that. Some of them may allow you to buy the 360 version and upgrade to the PS4 version for the $10. It doesn't hurt to go in and ask.
That's what I did and the GameStop near me said it would be fine. Always safe to check first.
