Thousands of fans visited the Call of Duty: Ghosts booth at Gamescom 2013, all for the opportunity to be some of the first members of the public to play Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer. For those that didn’t get a chance to see it in person, here is what it was like to go inside the Call of Duty: Ghosts Gamescom booth!

With its large façade and central screen, the Call of Duty: Ghosts booth was hard to miss in Hall 7. On the outer displays, trailer videos played in both English and German.

Once inside, the first room that fans passed through was “No Man’s Land.” The action on-screen takes place in a devastated San Diego and includes a sequence with Riley, the faithful canine companion of the Ghosts.

The next room in the queue was “Into the Deep,” which features the game’s underwater level. While the room looked serene in a blue aura, the pace picked up quickly on-screen with some intense underwater action.

Between each of the themed rooms were open viewing areas, where fans could watch live Multiplayer gameplay on the big screens above.

Fans then moved into the “Federation Day” room, based on a night mission in a South American skyscraper. This was the first time that this level was shown in public.

The last stop in the line was the theater, where fans were briefed on some of the new features in Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer.

It was a great opportunity for fans to not only get off their feet, but also receive some last-minute pointers before jumping into the game themselves!

Fans pack onto the on-deck steps, awaiting the call to the next available station.

With over 150 stations setup in the football field-sized booth, fans did not have to wait long before they were in and playing Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer.

Once they finished their matches, fans were invited to put their likeliness into the Ghosts imagery.

They could then access the image on their mobile devices and share it to their social media pages.

Also right next to the main booth was the Turtle Beach setup, where fans could test out a pair of the gaming headsets as well as pose for pictures next to an oversized set.

Thank you to all of the fans that visited the Call of Duty: Ghosts booth at this year’s Gamescom!
