"We’ve got a few hints at what sort of fixes we can look forward to in the next Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 update.
Responding to concerns on Twitter, Game Design Director David Vonderhaar lets fans know what’s been fixed in the next update, and what is still being looked into.
First, Vonderhaar mentioned the patch “should be Tuesday,” though it’s still uncertain. Luckily, however, it will fix a few of these errors and glitches a number of player have been experiencing.
What is still in research, however, is the bouncing Care Package glitch. A number of players who’ve called in a Care Package Scorestreak have reported it immediately bouncing off the map when dropped to the ground. As is stands, it sounds like a fix for this particular error may not make in into the next patch.
This, of course, is not the full list of patch notes. We hope to have it as soon as it’s available, however, so keep your sights on MP1st!"
Funny! 50 views, yet no one comments. Seems like all you kids love to do is bitch and moan. Here is a possible fix, yet no one seems happy about it.
none of those have affected me as of yet...lol
its the hip firing SMG's and lack of red screen/vibration thats bugging me
I think people are too busy raging about Nuketown being removed to care about this. And then, those that do come to read this still won't care. Why? Because all of these glitches are minor and unimportant when compared to the big complaints like the people who still can't connected, the people so harshly affected by the lag comp they find the game unplayable, the ones who can't do anything for more than 5 minutes before hitting a hard freeze, etc etc. These updates won't make many feel better. In fact, they probably would have been better off not releasing a patch at all until lag/connection issues were fixed. Now the fans that care about the lag are going to think trey is sitting on their asses doing nothing of importance while they suffer.
Shut up and give me back nuketown 2025, i paid for it!
That's funny because I've fallen victim to each of those glitches (except the theatre error, because I havn't necessarily explored the theatre mode). The dragonfire glitch was especially annoying because it was one of my main killstreaks, and it really sucks that I can't prestige my FHJ-18 (no reward for being a team player, eh?). As for the care package bounce, I've only had that a couple of times. Looking forward to patch!
Nevertheless, I agree with the connectivity and spawn issues which undoubtedly make this game incredibly frustrating. I thought spawn fixes were going to be a major improvement for BO2!
Nothing about addressing the console shutdowns on ps3... STILL NOTHING.
because there is nothing wrong........the freezing and connection issues is our faults duh (being sarcastic)
What I really want to know is if this patch will correct the "black ops 2 server not available" error that me and many others are getting right now. If the patch fixes this the that's awesome.
