It's a session error, just like it says.  Because of a disconnection mid-game, and the session/game is frozen, it will not allow that username to search for a new session/game because the server thinks you are still in that original session/game.

The devs need to dump all frozen sessions from the server to release those frozen users, and find a way to stop this from happening.

Has anyone tried deleting all of their BO2 data from the PS3 to see if it fixes the issue?

The issue is server-side, not PS3 side, that's why you can still use alternate users from the same PS3 unit.

I like the sounds of what I am hearing from this thread. The only question's it does not answer is about the freezing and rebooting of our PS3's

That's not a a server issue, that's like getting BSOD on windows.  It's the interaction of the software with the hardware, and when the hardware gets a command or half-command that it doesnt understand, it will just shit its pants.

Both types of issues will require patches, but an intial action would be restarting the activision-side servers to free up any frozen game sessions.
