Beware! Sony employee chain mail scam

Got a random message in my box from some loser claiming to be with Sony. This guy claimed that he trying to stop spamming reports that PS3 was moving to "Pay fro Play". All I had to do was "copy and paste" and some such and I would receive a $37.00 credit in my wallet. lol

DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! Did I mention "DELETE"?

It's not a scam. It's just a chain message that people send to everyone on their friends list. I've been getting them every now and then since I got ps3 back in dec. 2007. I just delete it.

Wait, so you're saying that if I had followed through I would have actually received a legitimate credit to my wallet?

No. It never works. It's not a scam though. I classify a scam as something that tries to get you, to give out your information.

These messages just tell you to send to 20 other people and you will get $20 in your wallet. Or send to all of your friends and then enter this code and get $50 in your wallet. It never works.
