I don't like how if your teammate collects your tag, he gets more points than you do. That's bs because of the scorestreaks. In MW3 no one went out of their way to steal your tags but now everyone does. I'm tired of racking up double or triple kills to have my a-hole teammate steal my tags and get my points. It's utter bs. It should be half and half. 50 for you and 50 for the person who collected it. Not 25 for you and 100 for the person that collected it. It makes me look bad when I have 25-30 kills and only 8 confirms because of a-hole teammates. I know it's not about the points it's about the win and etc but this game rewards you for playing the objective and it's hard to when you have morons taking your tags.
make it 75 for the killer cause really i had gotten a escort drone by running around the map getting dogtags. I killed no one just got tags and i had the highest score at the end my escort drone got 12 kills had gotten 3.
In my experience, I'm one of the only people who goes for the tags. I capture like 30 of them and the teammates only get like 12 each.
Agree, I have posted on this topic before, people knock you out the way now to grab the tags of someone you just killed!!! Annoying as hell!!
So, let's camp in the corner and let my teammate grab the tags, that seems fair.
Yup, it's crazy out there. People are bumping others out of the way to get tags; It's absolute mayhem. I'm out there dolphin diving for tags.Lol!
lol I think I'm going to have to play HKC.
I dunno... If you sit and camp and someone else collects your tags thats your bad. If you run and gun, and get the tag it's earned. If someone else swipes your tag ... they too are running and gunning, and you will eventually get their tags right back. So it plays out for those who chance their KD for scorestreaks.
I understand why they did it this way, and to a point it works as intended. They don't want people just sitting in KC and killwhoring, so by offering more points for confirming the kill than actually killing an opponent they give other players on that team the incentive to play the objective, even if one or two slayers still decide not to. Plus in many cases collecting tags is actually more dangerous than killing someone.
That said, I agree that they went too far with it. Awarding the player who got the kill with 50 points (instead of 25) when a teammate confirms it evens things out much better, while still making it worthwhile to risk your own scorestreak by collecting them.
For those calling out the OP for "camping", someone rocking a sniper or LMG in KC can be a very valuable part of their team without getting close enough to the action to collect very many tags. Or it can be something as simple as pausing behind cover to reload before confirming the kill and then having a teammate swoop in to steal it.
I Know many times that i play KC most people dont go for the tags, so i think people that really do play it have just gotten a habbit of grabing the tags because they want to win. There are also times were the tags are just in the way and just by running by you get the tag, it cant be helped.
They need to just do away with teammates picking up tags. If it's not thier kill then they shouldn't get sh!t. Red tags should be the only thing teammates can get points from.
