So I was super excited to finally have a new gun in DLC, as it's something that the community has been asking to receive for years. After using it today and running some tests I've determined that it is a good to average gun with competitive stats. All of the positives, negatives, and statistics are mentioned in the video link along with distances and bullet damage drop off, but ultimately I think it is a weapon that we will be seeing quite often over the coming months. Here's to hoping that these gun DLC additions continue! Let me know what you feel about the peacekeeper and it's effectiveness.
COMPLETE STATISTICAL BREAKDOWN
Close range = 1-70 yards
4 bullets to kill; 3 if one is a headshot.
max damage=32 with 1.2 headshot multiplier.
headshot multiplier damage = 38.4
32x4=128 which equals normal bullet damage for kill
32x2+38.4= 102.4 which equals 2 normal hits plus 1 HS.
Medium range = 70-110 yards
5 bullets to kill; 4 if 2 are headshots.
max damage = 24 with 1.2 headshot multiplier
headshot multiplier damage = 28.8
24x5= 120 which equals normal bullet damage for kill
24x2 + 28.8x2 = 105.6 which equals 2 normal hits plus 2 HS.
Long range = 110+ yards
6 bullets to kill, 5 if all 5 are headshots.
max damage = 17 with 1.2 headshot multiplier
headshot multiplier damage = 20.4
17x6 = 102 which equals normal bullet damage for kill
20.4x5 = 102 which equals 5 hit kill if all 5 are HS
The PK is not much more than the FAD from MW3 just a little slower on the ROF. add in rapid fire and long barrel and basically you have the FAD. A good weapon but far from being OP like some have allready tried to claim.
None of that matters.
What matters is that it shoots straight across all maps and and the mobility.
0 recoil across huge distances (unlimited) + smg mobility = amazing gun.
Plus it's purdy.
All that trumps whatever else. Smg speaking.
agree stats mean nothing....it's whether it work's that count's and if it takes four shots to kill, one being in the head then that isn't right, surely if you shoot someone in the head they should go down?
it was great yesterday when it was peacekeeper on peacekeeper gun fights but now people have decide its not the gun for them it seems to be pretty poor going up against the other guns in the game id say ive lost about 3/4 of gun fights against other guns this morning
WTF is all the stats about?!!
Who gives a crap what the numbers say...How sad would you have to be to research the guns numbers and think about what they do, just take it out and shoot people with it ffs..
Its shit anyway...the MSMC with fore grip out does it every time!
To find out the specific ranges and bullets you need to kill, of course. The numbers define how it plays. For example, now people know it will never be a 3 hit kill at close range unless you get a headshot
I agree with mr brightside. If you had numbers for every single gun in the game, you could easily compare all of them and determine which guns are better at which distances without having to rely on opinion or feel alone. Its just another way to determine which weapons suit your styles.
Stats alone do not decide which guns is really better or worse. Some of the so called UP weapons in this game can completely dominate the so called OP weapons when used by a good player. The best weapons in the game mean nothing if the player using them cannot use them to the full potential and not everyone can that plays this game.
Plus then you got to HC and all stats mean nothing at that point. I can take a pistol and out shoot a ar, smg, lmg, sg, sniper. but according to the stats the pistol should not win most of those battles. So game mode matters too.
