Have you ever considered why you don't get mod tools?

Call of Duty Black Ops II Xbox 360

Have you ever considered why you don't get mod tools?

Have you ever thought why you do not get mod tools? As in the ability to make your own maps etc?

If you guys get this I will be very impressed; if you don't, you're the sheep I considered you were.

What is your point? They give us an emblem maker and this community uses it to make racist, pornographic pictures. I shudder to think what kind of maps they would make.

I would like to see some sort of map editor in the next game for some new community playlists.  Competitive and Party gamemodes.

In Halo I have seen many messed up maps but the creative people would really strive in this community.

I don't remember that but it is possible.  I always thought Bungie thought more about there community than IW/Treyarch, but Treyarch is somewhat trying.

Bungie actually had a huge competition for their community. The community would make maps and submit them, then Bungie would review them and select the best to be in Matchmaking. They weren't listed as DLC, because they were community made (and free), but it was a lot of fun to participate.

Grifball, a "sports" game within Halo, was actually created by members of the community (Rooster Teeth, a.k.a. the creators of Red vs Blue), and was done in the "Forge" option available to anyone.

So it is possible, but with how the Call of Duty gamers are, I could easily see games with horrific spawns, secret glitches, and terrible design. I'm sure there could be a lot of good stuff, but you have to take the good with the bad.

because if u could make maps n play them in pub games like in far cry the maps wouldnt get boring so map pack sales would go down.

Listen this isn't some new idea...the PC version used to get mod tools for map making up until MW2. We used to make our own zombie maps in WaW and probably had some that would have you guys forking over money like there was no tomorrow.

So lets see....they take it away from the smallest group (PC), and now you wonder why you don't get it... the answer is DLC....
