Another thing, you do know that lag compensation is a BO2 thing, and in most games laggy bad connections hurt you.
Actually lag compensation has been in ALL online games since their inception. The woeful ways it has been handled starting in MW3 has gotten worse and people using anything that can to play online has caused some of it. I am all for making a MINIMUM requirement of upload and ping to even be able to access online gaming.
Sorry, should have been more specific, there are many ways to compensate for lag. The specific way that black ops 2 compensates for lag, and to the degree in which they do it, is not the same as that in other games. And thus, laggy connections, will undoubtedly hurt you in other games, more than help you, which isn't the case for black ops 2.
You don't have to worry about people who play on crap internet connection in the next gen of consoles. Most of the the next gen online shooters will use dedicated servers, if someone plays on a crap connection then he will get penalized, CoD will be the only game that will use a hosting system.
Halo won't use dedicated servers.
CoD is the only game to use this hosting system, every other game moved on from the out of date multiplayer style and actually has servers.
Ummm... so why is it when I play halo 4 that 50% of the game is usually spent finding another host?
