Yeah, totally agree, a good player doesn't need aim assist. If players on the DA can't aim without aim assist, they should try learning how to aim. Or they could switch to the Wii Mote. I guess Treyarch has to be nice to those little kids so become sad and all rage quit. Not trying to be offensive, just I don't see why aim assist is required. Not bashing Treyarch in any way because I know their goal is to make money and I understand. Also, a cool alternative would be a seperate playlist with no aim assist.
Wiimote Aim Assist RIP. It was fun and funny while you lasted.
I play without Aim assist and I have the acciracy of a DA user with Aimbot.
Learn to play without it, it's really useful.
It's also very hard to play without aim assist. If no one had Aim Assist the game would be a spray feast (Which I wouldn't mind)
But they should nerf how strong AA locks onto enemies.
Ummm, I don't really agree. I've seen plenty of people who know how to aim. If I didn't know how to aim as a Wii Mote user against those DA kids me k/d would be like 0.5
I don't use wiimote aim assist and the only difference I've ever seen with it turned on versus turned off is that it's harder to control with it on (in past CODs). In this COD (after patches), I see no difference whatsoever. And that's fine with me.
I swear some of the stuff you guys write is just, well, stupid. You cannot defend the Wiimote here. Aim Assist on Wiimote was overpowered. It was insanely overpowered. Sure, the DA guys can track through walls too, but nowhere near as much as the Wiimote could after the last patch.
As long as you were in a certain range, the Wiimote would continue to track the target indefinitely. In contrast, the DA would only continue to track while the enemy was in view and a short while after they disappeared from view (ie, after going behind a wall). It would not continue to track forever like the Wiimote.
It's important to understand that it is highly unlikly that A_TREY_U will remove the ADS snap entirely, which I agree is something that the Wiimote did need. Based on his comments, it seems that the only thing they will be doing is removing the, and I quote, "exploit" with the Wiimote aim assist. So chill. Unless you were one of those idiots that were tracking enemies through walls, you have nothing to worry about.
