About to be done with this trash ass game and all the updates. I don't get to play much. Hour here hour there. Seems every other time I turn it on, a *****ing hour long update and I can't play. In this day in age, it shouldn't take 9 hours for a dam update. ***** BO4!
If you leave your device in sleep mode (at least on PS4) and turn on Auto-Updates it will run the updates while you are away.
So your telling him it's and ESO issue. Oh, now you're just wanting to make his head explode!
Whelp this just about covers it. Every single topic regarding the game has had someone argue either side of it. Pistols, SMGs, LMGs, ARs, Shotguns, Launchers- someone somewhere has made a thread saying they are OP and need a nerf and someone else has made a thread saying they are useless and need a buff. Same thing with every specialist. Some people have made threads saying Treyarch doesn't support the game enough. Now we have a thread saying they support the game too much.
None of you guys have a clue what you're complaining about.
I'm complaining about all the *****ing updates. I have other games on my box. Everyone isn't in a situation where they can back-up their other games on a external hard-drive. So I have to delete games to make space, get the ***** outta here.
Just a heads up; every Tuesday, at 11:00am Pacific Time, updates will continue to roll out. It has been like this forever. Some of us have grown used to this, and understand that it is necessary for the game to run as smoothly as possible. We also know that Tuesday, and Wednesday tends to suffer from weird connection issues as a result of these updates. It comes with the territory. Others, for whatever reason, seem to think CoD is the only game to update frequently. While I respect your frustration, there is only one thing you can do: accept it. This isn't one of those, "we shouldn't have to accept it if it bothers us" issues. This is a " this is how the game has chosen to roll out new features/modes, and this will continue indefinitely no matter how much crying comes from the community." thing.
So, suck it up, and plan accordingly.
You realize that the third option is to simply not buy Activision products right? With the sale of destiny back to bungie and lukewarm response to their new lineup of call of duty games. It's not unwelcome that Activision can improve their customer service. Especially with a recent titles that are being supported with constant updates and nerfing equipment to accommodate lower skilled players (many of whom are streamers journos who have developers ears). Sure an individual customer isn't going to necessarily hurt Activisions sales. But tens of thousands probably will. Yes the bug men will always come out and support anything that developers do, short of puking in their fruit salad. In fact, I very much was a cheerleader of Activision and treyarch for a long time. But unfortunately I'm very much aware that Activision treyarch seem to be more interested in making sales than games that work. Especially with shoehorning themselves in the battle Royale fad with blackout. And those missed sales opportunities have included me. This (Black Ops 4) is the first Activision game I bought in 5 years. And unfortunately for the people who remain die-hard fans. If a'lot of people decide not to buy your favorite game. They will stop making it.
Lol 9 hours? Don't worry, we don't want you playing the game with us either with your McDonald's internet making you lag across the map.
Hey... that hamster was working HARD on his wheel to power this guy's router.
