Why doesn't theater fully record ground war?

Is there a way for me to get it to record full games?

Too much strain on the host. This was discovered during Black Ops.

If the host isn't able to record the game because the host's connection cannot handle both running the match and recording, theater mode stops recording.

If you want to record full games, you'd have to purchase a PVR.

The matches and data are too much for the host. It actually used to record full matches early on in Black Ops. Then Vahn put out the tweet why it stopped. It was pretty bad.

I actually remember how much better the game played once they stopped recording full matches.
