Can someone technically explain why there can't be every game mode for HC ?
Not enough memory for all the slots. And not enough players. It would be a horrible idea matchmaking wise to have seveal playlist with only a couple hundred players.
Dude, I still play MW2, Blops 1, and MW3 with only a few hundred in a playlist and it works fine. Know what you're saying before you just spit it out.
I do know what I'm saying. Here is a quote which i know for a fact you have seen before.
The problem here is that not every gamemode playable in a hardcore variant has sufficent enough traffic to warrant having it's own playlist.
Hardcore Free-For-All, for example, has a very low traffic count. This makes Matchmaking in that playlist more difficult.
If they did that with all the low population modes there would be no Sticks and Stones, One in the Chamber, Gun Game, Capture the Flag, Demolition, or ANY variant of League Play. ALL of those modes I listed have anywhere from 500-2,000 people playing at any given time. I can GUARANTEE you that if they added HC domination, HC Headquarters there would be WAY more than that playing it.
The issues is that to do that they have to remove a HC mode to add it. They can't make core modes HC.
Kinda ironic that he says that about numbers yet they keep bigging up League Play and that only has a few hundred playing. Why not remove that as well then?
Where does the memory need to come from? Treyarch servers? The disc? Even if there isn't a lot of people in the lobbies, I think it should still be available and give the players an option to wait for a game to start or deal with the bad connection.
