When you play public matches, which machine (xbox) is recording the theater data and then send it to the treyarch servers. I know it won't be saved on HDD like MW3 did, its saved temporary and uploaded to Treyarch after the match is over. Who is recording it, the Host or a other player?

idk, I guess the game is....

I know there is an option to record in Private matches, not sure about regular playlist....I think it does it automatically.

I gonna try to play the game without a HDD inside and copy my profil on usb stick, maybe this way i can play the game without recording the data (turning theater off). maybe its the theater recording that causes the lag comp effect.

I came up with the idea because someone has mentioned turning off theater mode in your thread, thank you.

It makes sense. sure.  I have thought of this before never mentioned it though because I don't think lag comp is as big a problem as everyone here makes it up to be.

Thats what the game is for.  To discuss it. show live examples and for people to get to know each other.

I'd be curious to know the answer to that question.  I don't know how much of a difference it would be but I am still curious.  How would anyone be able to know for certain anyway?

I will report it when i've tested it, can't do it right now, sorry.

it probably won't work cause i think the game writes the theater data into the ram and not to the harddrive but who knows, maybe it works lol but i doubt it.
