Hit detection seems spot on, and I haven't been shot around corners yet. Framerate is a silky smooth 60 FPS with no noticeable slowdown. So far it seems like a perfect port.
Yes, the whole game can be played on the gamepad, but you're better off using either the Wiimote or CCP because the gamepad feels a bit awkward with the sticks so far apart.
Oh, great. I know the Gamepad might be awkward, but I'll have to use it until I get ahold of a Wiimote again (as I am an avid remote user). Thanks anyway, it seems we've only gotten good news so far.
Guys, I know this from the xbox..one more piece of info.
When you go to public match, you will see an option at the bottom of the screen called Search Preferences.
You have 3 options:
1. Best - looks for the lowest latency. Could increase search time
2. Normal - (a compromise)
3. Any - will connect to anything and anyone just to get a game
I have opened my firewall up so I am open (not strict or moderate) and have set my search pref to best. This may or may not help out with lag when there are thousands online.
The port seems to be flawless so far. It's running nice and smooth for me.
As we saw on your video.
I'm having some problems with the wiimote. Been playing CoD wii since WaW Wii days, with the wimote. For this game though, for some reason, if I turn my pointer a little left or a little right to my hipfire/ads deadzone, the pointer starts sliding to either direction by itself. This is really hampering my gameplay, and it makes sniping almost impossible. Anyone have this problem?
Wii cursor senstivity is not in this game for some reason. I wonder if the lack of this setting is causing this.
There's a setting to turn that off but I swear it's like it's not there anymore. I can't find it. It has to do with having the gun sway or stay centered on the screen. I changed it so that it stayed centered and that fixed the problem but I can't find that setting now. It's like it got removed after that sytem update. I don't know.
Still needs cursor sensitivity though. It's still a little off without that.
