The amount of times I see people 5th and 6th prestige with 2 days playing time???? It just adds frustration to an already frustrating game. Get your finger out Treyarch....
That is a problem. But they need to fix the game first and then worry about the leader board. My 2 cents.
this finding boosters need the edited films to be up so can not deal with boosters until films are back up so Treyarch at the mo can not deal with this
Treyarch still has access to game film, that's not the problem. The problem is that it's a very time-intensive process to identify the potential booster/hacker and then actually review the gameplay to make sure the scoring discrepancies are something the player did vs. a coding or gameplay issue. Fixing a bug or glitch in the game requires time, too, but generally for only a couple of people who are full-time staff anyway...when it comes to sitting there and watching hours upon hours of game footage to identify a booster vs. someone who just happened to be on/up against a really bad team is probably something you don't want to tie up a trained software developer with, thus making it necessary to hire & pay more staffers.
Me personally, I don't think I've ever run into a booster or hacker in my own lobby, and it just doesn't really matter to me if my leaderboard rank is a hundred or more spots lower than it "should" be. I imagine that's true for the majority of CoD players; maybe not the majority of posters here, but far more people play the game than bother with these forums.
Be sure to report them in game using the embedded reporting feature. That is the best way to notify Treyarch.
With all due respect the most obvious of boosters are the ones at the top of the leaderboards. They are about as obvious as a kick in the face.
Quick question Jeepchick.
Is there a way of reporting them via elite (website)? Check this dude out https://elite.callofduty.com/career/playercardops2/ps3/32f0faf72b399b50acf3cc59f64b8c5b29d8eb1373dd3...
obvious him and his buddies are boosting and he is currently ranked number one in tdm.
Not that I'm aware of, but that's a good idea. I'll foward your idea (and the linky). - CJC
