Yeah, it's there. I did it.
Go to the main menu on BO2. Not the multiplayer or zombies or campaign, but the main main menu.
Go to options
Go to install.
All it is in place of it getting the texture data from the disk all the time and it putting alot of stress on your drive it is cashed to the hard drive, so your blueray drive wont go crazy like is dose in blackops 1.There are no real ingame advantage/texture gain its just less stress on the drive.
As requested by a couple of people..
Nutshell simples explanation as to what is a texture install.. On maps (single player/multiplayer) the largest chunk of the file size is taken up with the textures in laymans terms these are the graphics that bring the maps to life .So instead of either a wireframe building or blank wall you have brickwork/ect
They have to be loaded from somewhere before you can play a map/sp level...
By putting them on the hdd it lessens the amount of time the disk drive is used in loading stuff..
