Black Ops II PlayStation 3

COD,

Take a look at this video of this "worm" dude holding up shop in hijacked. Now instead of bashing what he's doing I wanted to share this to figure out the best ways to counter such positioning.

My take:

1- Use blackhat to take out and hack the trophy systems

2- Smoke grenade to provide confusion and cover

3- Use flank jacket to get enough support for the claymores.

Now in the video the guy gets a few easy kills from and Im sorry "easy targets" who choose to run back to the same spot to get killed.

So lets work together COD community, how would you attempt to take out such a player?

Black hat from the deck bellow, then two smoke and entre from an underexposed angle. By that I mean crouch and Dolphin dive etc. I would have made this reply longer, but my Clan usually ignore people this entrenched, to starve them of kills and draw them out.

I saw this video yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing, plus Thunder's commentaries are always good. What I would do is switch to my engineer+blackhat class and hack his guardians and sentries because they pose the biggest threat, then I would destroy his claymores. Then I would throw a C4 (he might have flak jacket but a C4 is still gonna hurt) and then I'd rush through the door to mess up his aim and then hopefully take this guy out.

C4 is genius, larger radius nice.

1) Lob EMP grenade into the other room.

2) Ignore him until he's built up all those scorestreaks again.

3) Goto 1.

Seriously...one EMP grenade takes out 2 Guardians (250 points), 2 Sentry Guns (250 points), and a trophy system (50 points).  Thunder even mentions that in the second half of the video.

how about the trophy systems, he's got two what counters what? Does the emp counter the trophy or the trophy counter the emp?

The trophy system only defends against projectiles which pass over it.  The EMP's blast radius is wide enough that you can disable that entire room without throwing it into the trophy's defense radius.

Hell, you might even be able to toss it downstairs & knock everything out.

Nice one harv, your right I have felt the effects of the emp nade without actually seeing it tossed near me. Good one,

The EMP grenade: never leave spawn without it.
