I don't mind being ranked by my SPM if they change one little thing. They should change when a player is shown on the leaderboard. A person should have to play at least 25-50 games from that game-mode to even show up in the leaderboard. Then the SPM would better reflect your ranking. For example, I checked out my S&D SPM and the first few pages of people above me are players that have only played a single game.
As for what you are saying.....I would love to be able to see who on my friends list has the most kills and highest k/d.
it does bother me that a guy with 100 Confirms, 160 kills and 200 deaths has a higher rank them me
I have 19k kills 12k confirms and about 10k deaths.
Real leaderboards? They used to exist huh. I started late into MW3 and the leaderboards were a mess. I guess it's like the dodo bird. I didn't get to see that either.
I just miss those days when leaderboards actually worked...today, I was in a lobby, naturally I checked the lobby leaderboard and noticed that it only had 300 kills logged and over a 1000 deaths, but my K/D was correct. Anyone else noticed this?
SPM is one of the most skewed stats for player gauging. A player can have 50 kills and 75 deaths and be at the top of a leader board because his SPM was 350. SPM is as useful a gauge as Accuracy was in previous COD titles...
