How the hell am I meant to avoid the Lightning Strike?

Black Ops II General Discussion

How the hell am I meant to avoid the Lightning Str...

There is only  a 750 millisecond delay between targeting the last area before the first bomber hits. There is no possible to way to avoid it, Flak Jacket isn't effective enough, Ghost; while useful, doesn't offer any protection apart from the aid of UAVs.

This killstreak reward is overpowered, combined with a UAV, you are gauranteed the kill, there should be a 3-5 second delay between targeting and firing (much like the mortar strike in Black Ops).

The thing with it is that it comes with a UAV sweep and that shows where players are respawning.  I've had Flak Jacket save me but you need to be a fair distance away.

i don't think you are meant to avoid it. they should do away with the warning, because it does no good to warn you. it might as well just say, "you are about to die. hope you have a last will and testament."

Well, if you have ghost running, you should probably stay the hell away from people. Being near some one will get you killed in this game because if they show up on the map and get a lightning strike or hellstorm missile dropped on them, so will you.

You are not meant to be able to easily avoid it, stop thinking you are... The hellstorm is the same. The moment they call it in you have very little time to get to cover and that is how it is meant to be.

Wouldn't be much of a Lightning Strike if it was too easily avoidable.  I mean Stealth Bomber in MW3 really wasn't stealthy since I could hear it a mile away and then avoid it.

You can kill a hellstorm missile though

"Intercepted", good luck with it I have managed it once <complete fluke>
