We need an official note from IW on steam about FOV changer in multyplayer.
A lot of players on Steam lost in two opinions about FOV changer : Allowed or NOT ?
Please , give us the official note on Steam Call of Duty Ghosts forum with answer Allowed or Denied.
With good wishes, Nerio.
IW have already stated publicly on twitter the fov changer is allowed and people wont be punished for using it
The twiter is not an official public board .
Same girl post something from her privet twiter, that I saw.
I didn`t see any comments from authorize authority. They keep silence .
From seller I see this, I paid them £££ and they said:
Post on Steam , 1 hour ago.

First Offense: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.

PC users on Steam will be reported to the Steam enforcement team.
I've been using the MapModNews FoV changer for about a week especially after another IW employee also stated the same ... it's okay to use. Also, someone in my Clan that I trust noted a update/retraction where Activision later approved the FoV Changer; I didn't want a ban but after that I was okay. IW > Activision.
At this point they'd have to ban half of the Ghosts MP players for a FoV mod.

Agentrev, maker of the Call of Duty: Ghosts FoV Changer, received an important message from Infinity Ward's Community Coordinator, Candice Capen.
" Hello - Just wanted to give you the heads up,
we've started banning all third party software, including FOV changers."
Followed by :
"We're going to be adding our own as soon as we can, but you may want to update your site so players can know there is potential to be banned."
So after exactly three months and more than 105.000 downloads mapmodnews.com has now stopped with the distribution of AgentRev's Call of Duty: Ghosts FoV Changer.
And we urge all users to stop using AgentRev's Call of Duty: Ghosts FoV Changer !
We want to thank all for trusting us and for making a statement that a FoV changer is important for so many.
We also want to thank Infinity Ward for keeping the lines for communication open.
TBH I think I/W should have given a little more notice other than a 24 hour period that this tool was banable.. again the dimwits who don't give out the information at least 1 week notice is just another way to us who get banned using the FOV to pay more money for their crap.. This aint gonna happen. not from me anyway or any other member within the clan.
Soon as the app stated that I have not even loaded up the game with it, How ever I did the night before. so 24 hours aint enough warning plus the warning should have been on the input screen instead of displaying your damn DLC
