So what exactly happened to DLC, want real answers

I want to know where Wii u DLC went, it seems to have "disappeared" from the Wii u pre order page, I want real answers because the whole Wii u community is confused.

They heard that DLC caused lag from the USA outwards. So DLC would only give even more assist to DA USA FIBRE OPTIC fanboys, and they didnt feel it was fair to europeans, so they didnt give it us.

There's nothing confusing.  Until there is some type of official confirmation then we are not getting it.  It's very simple.  Right now they haven't confirmed DLC.  Which means as of right now it's not coming.  No confirmation means we're not getting it.  Until they announce otherwise it is very safe to assume that we are not getting it.

Re: So what exactly happened to DLC, want real answers

It was a bright Monday morning when the penguin invasion began.

                  Treyarch headquarters, around 9am.

Zombified penguins entered the headquarters, and trashed everything. They held the developers at gunpoint and told them one thing, AND ONLY ONE THING "No DLC"....and so began the Treyarch Massacre. zombie penguins destroyed everyone and everything in sight. Only one man could save them. That man was Martin. Martin managed to inject himself with smallpox and the penguins refused to eat his flesh. Soon, everyone injected themselves with smallpox(Except Kevin, he injected himself with coke. Yes, Coca Cola.). The office was saved.....except.....the penguins had sent a message to Nintendo.

"U is a poopy face lul no violence in yer merryo games lol faqqet"

Nintendo was furious and frankly they could not believe zombie penguins had infiltrated Treyarch HQ. Nintendo then told Treyarch: "No DLC....for 10 years".

This happened one Monday morning, november 2010.

Re: So what exactly happened to DLC, want real answers

                      More detailed version:

Monday morning 8:07am- The security guard on duty at Treyarch HQ was doing his rounds when he noticed a fishy smell coming from the ventilation. The security guard slowly became hungry and wondered off to the nearby coffee shop to get something to eat.

Monday morning 8:23am- The security guard returns with coffee, a doughnut, and fish sticks. The air conditioner was set to high, and the front desk was colder than normal.

Monday morning 8:33am- The security guard sees something at the far side of his eye, but when he turned around he saw nothing. This continued on for a few minutes.

Monday morning 8:39am- The security guard has become frightened of the mysterious figures around him. He slowly backs up and trips over... It was a hand.

Monday morning 8:40am- The security guard tries to use the telephone, but there is no dial. The phones are out.

Monday morning 8:44am- The security guard runs to the security checkpoint and finds his fellow security guards being eaten alive by penguins. Behind them-behind the security checkpoint- is an army of penguins of what appears to be more than 50.

Monday morning 8:46am- The security guard makes it back to Treyarchs main building and begins barricading it in preparation for the army of penguins.

Monday morning 8:49am- The security guard collapses. He had just noticed that he lost an abnormal amount of blood. His right hand was missing.

Monday morning 8:55am- Treyarch staff and developers discover the unconcious security guard. They remove the barricade and are bombarded by penguins.

There are some seriously misguided individuals on this forum...

                        @ Padiego.

Yes, whilst the Zombified Penguins were involved in the initial wave of the 'Great Treyarch Invasion' of 2010.

It was in fact a front, to divert the authorities gaze from the notorious Ninja Squirrel hit squad.

The Ninja Squirrels had been planning the attack since the early days of World at War on the Wii.

They were furious that Pauly had discovered their secret stash of nuts under the map of Makin.

After several failed revenge attacks during MW3, they conjured a cunning plan to lure him out of hiding with the false promise of DLC in Black Ops. They were working deep undercover and managed to print the instruction manual from their oak tree HQ.

Once Pauly had seen the Holy Grail of gaming waved in front of him, he came out of hiding from his favourite camping spot next to the swimming pool on Villa. The squirrels pounced and seized their long lost nuts.

The Zombified Penguins are yet to be released from the Camp X-ray detention facility, and are vying for the squirrels blood after an anonymous tip off to the awaiting SWAT team. Leaving them without their promised cut of the nutty haul.

To this day, Pauly has been patiently awaiting his chance to extract his sweet revenge on the Ninja Squirrels and still lights a candle to the hope of one day getting DLC on his beloved Wii.

So please get your facts right in the future.

                        @ Everyone else.

No Call of Duty support for any Wii console. Not then, not now, not ever. Never! Got it? Good.

                        PS don't trust the squirrels.

In early 2013 Treyarch was sued and lost hundreds of millions for not giving WiiU Nuketown.  Now it's official they can't give us DLC cause they don't have the funds to bring it over to Wii U.  It was on the news.

I was wondering, what if there's no DLC because of Nintendo's slightly backwards online system? Anything you purchase on the U is locked to your console rather than your account. Maybe Activision doesn't like that?

Only means more money for them if your system goes down. PS3 gets DLC across the system and the account. I can play it on all accounts on my PS3, and if my system goes down, I can redownload it onto a new one.

Yeah I think we have to face reality. We got scammed, no dlc for this title (at least I did, I pre-ordered because I saw the Bonus being offered lol) I'm still getting ghost though... but it would be nice to have a bonus...

                                    Guys check the numbers

Wii/wiiu sales numbers that should make us happy with cod on wiiu in the first place

and do the math. You don't need a MBA to figure out that the installed base is declining and too low.

Hopefully more people will buy ghosts so the numbers will increase for the wiiu and secure the future cod titles.
