QS is in the game to appease the kiddies. They have to make their QS montage videos for youtube, after all. Take your time to line up a perfect headshot and hold breath and you will be rewarded with a total miss and death. One shot one kill, yeah right, fire two or three rounds for that kill. Sniper rifle accuracy is fifty percent or less, people QS because they have to.
I don't know what playlist you are in to see that many snipers. Most lobbies I play in have two or three. Any more than two snipers on my team almost guarantees a loss.
Amen, get rid of the crap, its cheating to have aim assist on a sniper rifle
Do you even understand how aim assist works with a sniper rifle? It's not nearly as helpful with snipers than every other weapon class. It only works after being fully ADSed meaning dragscopes and hardscopes are benifited from AA unlike the other weapons classes that AA aids in centering and snapping to your target.
Take aim assist off, and it won't effect much of what i do with a sniper; however, in some situations, it's night and day with other weapons. Mainly it's in CQC that I get the most out of AA with automatics, and it's when I'm drop or jump/drop shotting, turning on a guy, hip firing especially. In longer range situations it's the AA that snaps to the target making centering very easy.
I admitt, finding all the information about aim assist, and playing with it on an off is why I've come to my conclusions. If I had not spent the time doing this, I would have had the preconceived notions that AA was helping quickscopers too much. I even run into very skilled quickscopers that don't a clue when it comes to the aim assist mechanics in BO2. They're still using the information they learned a few Cods ago.
