Then it's the latency. I've been killed on this game by guys facing 30 degrees to the left. On my screen he's not facing me but my screen goes red. That means that what I'm seeing is not what's actually happening. I think it's the same thing with the quickscopers you encountered. They may look like they're aiming down the ground yet they get a kill because they are not really looking at the ground.
I've never really had a huge problem with QScopers until tonight...8 Times in the same game, I got wiped out in close quarters after getting half a dozen shots off...the only thing that stopped the Rage-O-Meter needle snapping, I
was too busy laughing at the pi$$ poor animations
Their gun pointing at the ground yet I die... :-)
That is one thing that I cant understand, about BO2. Why do bullets appear out of thin air, when the animation is still showing the gun pointed at the ground?
Nothing worse than getting quickscoped, while the the guy is still in a running animation
These are all connection issues that quickscoping makes easier to see. I've noticed it being on both sides of the connection playing as and against quickerscopers. If you're quickscoping and owing CQC engagements, you have a connection advantage. It's that simple. So, if you're dying from a quickscoper in these situations, it's BO2 hit detection and connection issues (same thing really) that you should be complaining about, not quickscoping.
The problem I have with quickscoping is that it takes away the ARs advantage at their most effective ranges. That's a balancing issue.
