I agree, but its sadly to late to change the game.
I remember that one game i had on Yemen Domination, i had like 4 VSATs/EMPs in one match, the whole enemies team has rage quited LOL. The assist points you get from the VSAT and EMP are ridiculous. I was playing solo, now imagine how it will be when two good players are doing it. Game Over.
Look at it this way.... this person makes money from posting CoD vids and most ,not all, like seeing high kill gameplays. If this guy is continually calling in VSATS and getting his dogs/swarm/lodestar/vtol or whatever he is running but someone else used his vsats to get his streaks; it blocks him from calling in his so yea essentially it is stealing his "kills" and I see where he is coming from because I once had a game where I called in 2 Vsats in the first round and some other guy called in one and got his swarm/k9 but then in the second round all I saw was him camping for his second set of KS while I called in 5 more vsats. Normaly it wouldn't have made me mad but I ran out of vsat and ended up dying on a 28 gunstreaks 2 away from my first nuclear :S
It's a selfish way to think. It's exactly why I run VSAT. Nothing guarantees the win like a couple of orbitals and watching your team go crazy in the killfeed, even the campers get brave. Being an a-hole is a great way to get youtube views though.
This is the same type of person who will berate others in his videos or pre/post game lobbies for how bad they do. As far as I'm concerned anything that helps my team is good. I'm not trying to get crazy high k/ds, I just want to win the game and move on. Plus the more kills my team gets the fewer people I'll have to deal with at once on my own which equals fewer deaths for me. I actually was watching a twitch guy talk crap about another player on his team "feeding off his vsat" and getting his streaks, and said he wasn't any good. During the game I said in the chat "maybe the guy is just good too?" to which was replied "no way, he's probably a scrub".... Ended up the guy had over a 5 k/d which was higher than the streamers :-P
I shouldn't be surprised by that attitude but I am, whenever I put a VSAT up when playing in a party or solo I unmute my mic and say 'enjoy lads...' and do the same to say thanks if someone else calls one in.
People with his attitude should go play FFA if they don't want to be a team player.
