I see...let me be more clear then.....lets say there is a version of bo2 for wii. Wii u version players could not play with wii version players, because the wii u version connects to the nintendo network and the wii version connects to the nintendo wifi thingy. The wii emulator is separate from the wii u. When the wii emulator is running, the wii u disconnects from the nintendo network and connects to the nintendo wifi network. You cant play Wii u games on wii mode.
Ok I understand, if you'd read the whole thread though I said I was unsure if that would work or not. I'm no tech guy by any means, I'm pretty sure I've told you guys that before. I was replying to his mw3 question about compatibility.
I see what padiego is getting at. Is there a way the wii could connect to the same network as the u and vice versa? I would really like to hear from a trey u this is pretty interesting conversation. I wasn't aware the networks were different and my thoughts were if wii u was backwards compatible to begin with there should be a way to connect the two with new titles as well.
