To clarify, I mean how the shotgun pellets just disappear after a certain distance. Why not do the same thing to SMGs? The long distance accuracy of some of those weapons is simply absurd, and I feel this would solve that problem nicely.

Thats unrealistic, bullets NEVER drop after a distance! even to this day some bullets from WW2 still flying around the world globe, watch out, don't let them hit you.

You know whats funny is, there are some people out there who actually believe that Shotgun pellets do disappear after 5 feets in real life because they think the weapons in Call of Duty are realitic.

IRL bullets do drop, it just takes a long ass time to do so (especially .338 lapua snipers)

I am hoping for the next gen consoles they will incorporate bullet drop over distance. So SMG bullets will fall at a higher rate than assault rifle etc
Bullet drop: Shotgun > pistol > SMG > AR > LMG > Sniper
This would make SMGs less effective over distance!
We dont need next gen for this, BF3 had this which made being a good sniper something to brag about
