Treyarch and Activision won the fight vs connection advantage

Can we all agree that Treyarch and Activision successfully won the fight versus players who had always a connection advantage in previous Call of Duty games?

Now with Black Ops 2 it doesn't matter anymore if you have fibre optic or dial up connection, host or client, the game will decide how your connection will be, its like playing lottery now. Every player is treated equaly. The whole "equal playfield" worked out from a business point of view but it also created a new mess. The game turned from "few people experecieng lag in previous CoDs" to "Almost everyone lags".

Was it really worth it? to change the connection fairness because of the 1% who had a connection advantage? i don't know. What do you think?
