    How bad it was? it's still bad especially for the host and especially when the lobby has a lot of 3 / 2 bar players.

     

    Anyway I now have 35-35 Internet (signed this a while back, on ps3 that's 25-25 something) and I'm scared to play your game on it, as I know I'll force host in most lobbies. Luckily my new router has advanced QoS options. I'll try the game out on say 8-0.3 speeds first and see how it compared to my old 40-3 net. I know ping is important but I'll mainly play in <50, 75 ping lobbies again anyway.

    Oh I'm not suggesting it's great by any means, just that it HAS improved a bit compared to what it used to be. At least on my end it has. It's still pretty bad, but if you compare today to December or even January, there is some difference.

    It's just very inconstant. if the lobby has a good amount of local players with good ping rating, it's definitely playable for the host (next to the stuttering issues).

    He is right though, the EMP is just fine. I would even go so far as to suggest it gets a Buff so that it also disables enemy perks for it's duration. In exchange for that capability, move it over to the Assault Strike Package as a 15 Kill Streak (like in MW2).

    The only problem I got with the EMP is when it gets chained. EMP after EMP with you not being able to do a single thing about it. They are basically massacreing you with stealth bombers and other streaks while you are playing CoD 2. You can go run assassin pro but you still can't call in any streaks. The only true counter to the EMP is itself.

    I don’t think the emp is fair at all, for starts a minute is way too long. What is the point in going for an osprey gunner in a domination game when someone going 14-40 (capping flags and destroying air support) can destroy it and all your high streaks for a minute with an emp, included a potential moab launch if he launched the emp earlier (shouldn't something like a 24 / 25 gun streak destroy that scrubs streak completely instead???). Support needs a whole redo if it’s to be in black ops II imo. Point streak system itself is fine though (rewarding objective and team play).

    Um lol why would someone disagree with his other account? If your tired of chain EMP run specialist or you could run the Ballistic Vest only and problem solved or there could be a 20 second down time before another EMP from their team can be called in again. Either way it's fine the way it is.

    By using you ballistic vest your limiting yourself to one streak. Plus you should not be forced to run something.

    High kill streaks shouldn't be moot in everything but TDM and FFA. I've been in many domination games where both teams are EMPed for the last 3 to 4 minutes of the game. Killstreaks already get shot down way to fast without EMPs. I started running specialist on every class after the first week because kill streaks get destroyed way to fast. Every kill streak should have 1 set of flares besides uavs and cuavs. EMP's should have a limit of 2 per team or reduce them to 30-45 seconds with a delay between them or move them to assault for ~9 kills. Strafe run needs a lot of work though as its pretty much a free pred missile to anyone using a stinger and blind eye.
