I don't remember running into this problem or even hearing about this problem from anyone when the aa12 was putting out 12 pellets and the striker was shooting 9. And back then the striker was far more common because of its strength and the aa12 was also seen a little more back then also.
So if it didn't create noticeable issues when the aa12 and striker had 50% more pellets for the host to render and were more common, how would buffing the aa12 be problematic?

I didn't say that. The team feel it is a very effective weapon at close range because it is teh only full auto SG. However, we did not want to encourage overuse of this gun in mid-long range situations for game performance reasons. I have explained this before. If you don't like the AA-12 asasa then there are other SGs to use.

Saying that the AA-12 is a good shotgun because it is fully automatic is like saying that the Dragunov is a good sniper rifle because it's a one shot kill to the head....only.
You know, I remember you said a while back that the Model 1887 was not buffed because you wanted it to be the shotgun that would take skill to use, so why doesn't that apply to the Dragunov? It takes "skill" to use(as I've heard from a few people here on the forums), so why is it getting buffed?
All this shows is prejudice against shotguns. That's plain to see.
Can't believe what I heard a few pages back about the poor AA-12. It doesn't deserve any of this. If you think you can't increase the damage, then how about the RoF a little bit and make it so that E-Mags brings up the capacity to 16? The ONLY way the AA-12 is even REMOTELY useful is if you have the Damage Proficiency and you get the Specialist Bonus. That is when the AA-12 resembles its MW2 counterpart.
If you don't want to fix any of its aggressive stats, at least fix its passive stats like mag size. That's not asking a lot, is it?
Yes there are more wide spread issues that you need to handle but weapon balance regarding shotguns will require almost no work on your part. The shotgun community from here and denkirsons forums have put so much time and effort into testing the shotguns that we know exactly how stat changes would effect each of them. All your team would have to do is change the numbers and test. That would take so little time and make so many of us happy. Your community has done all the grunt work for you already.
Its like you are mowing your lawn and a stone fell out of your landscaping. Do you leave the stone on the ground after you go over it with the mower simply because you have the entire lawn to worry about or do you use your foot to flick the stone back into the landscaping and only lose a tiny portion of your pace to do so for a couple of seconds. All we need is for your team to kick the stone and you will make a few thousand people enjoy your game again.

Just once really look at them from our perspecive. Shotguns have taken a massive step down in this game compared to any other weapon class.
Ghandi, I have a question about Gun Game
Could you change the guns in Gun Game? Because atm I think they are a bit weird, you start out with an M4 then some more AR's and at the end a pistol. I think it should be like Black Ops where you start with a pistol, maybe with a tac knife, and then shotties and smg's and you end with maybe a Javelin or something fun.
Would be easy to change it? Thanks, really appreciate the patches you guys put out!
